Pentland Wholesale completes acquisition of Catering Equipment Professional

Pentland Wholesale Ltd is delighted to announce the acquisition of Catering Equipment Professional Ltd (CEP), which was completed on Tuesday 1st August 2017.

Both Pentland Wholesale and CEP are leading manufacturer-distributors in the catering and refrigeration equipment sectors and their joining of forces brings a wide variety of benefits to customers and the industry as a whole.

David Jones of CEP said, “Since its creation in 2008, CEP has seen huge success and has grown into one of the UK’s leading catering equipment suppliers. Joining forces with Pentland Wholesale opens up new doors for CEP’s continued development, providing the CEP team with facilities and capabilities that will enhance the service we provide to our clients”

David continues, “Pentland Wholesale have one of the largest stock facilities in the UK and have developed strong relationships with manufacturing partners around the world. We’re excited to offer our customers an even stronger UK stock-holding and distribution infrastructure, enabling us to continue delivering our products in the most competitive and timely manner.”

CEP and its brands Cook Professional, Dishwasher Professional & Refrigeration Professional along with the unique Libero theatre cooking equipment are recognised as some of the leading catering brands in the UK.

CEP will continue to operate as a separate business after the acquisition and retains its former Managing Director, David Jones.
