Our first show of 2023 is complete! And what a show it was. This year we decided to branch out from our usual show circuit and cover more the UK, so we headed up to Glasgow, Scotland for the ScotHot showcase.
PREPERATIONS
Exhibiting as both Blizzard and KoldBox for this show, we worked closely with our stand designers, Moda Exhibitions to bring our idea to life. What we created was a clean, modern and on brand presence to showcase the best of both brands. Our staff, along with Moda, worked hard to get the units and the stand set up the day before the show and we were ready to go on the Wednesday morning.
AT THE SHOW
This year we decided to take a more compact team of five, consisting of members from both our marketing and sales departments, showcasing faces both old and new to allow them to meet their customers and experience the show. Over the course of two days our team spoke to hundreds of different customers – from butty shops to Michelin starred professional kitchens about how Blizzard and KoldBox can help them solve their commercial catering dilemmas. We gained crucial contacts, as well as insights on how to further our brands going forward.
Determined to showcase as many products as possible, we brought over 20 units up to the show, making sure to show off a variety of product ranges. By far the most popular at the show were the units from our BIM Ice Maker range, we brought our smallest size BIM40, along with our BRAND NEW BIM230 – the largest size we offer. This range offers you the ability to produce up to 227kg of clear, cubed ice every 24 hours. We also brought along some of our other best-selling units, such as the Double Door Sliding Bottle Cooler and the Single Door Ventilated GN SS Freezer, which both went down a storm. We received excellent feedback on all the units we took which helps us to make well targeted decisions in the future.
